From the artist: "Tex Crockett was all about movement for me. I can only imagine what that ride feels like, so I did my best to capture that feeling with paint. The contrast of movement with a still image is always a challenge. I want the viewer to feel not only where the rider and horse are, but where they’ve been and are about to go."
